FitBit Force Product Review
(1)
I am Lana in this video. I'm going to share with you and
little health and fitness gadget that I have been playing with. It's called
Fitbit Force. This is the latest model. I paid about a $130 dollars for it and
waited about a month because it was on backorder. I'm pretty happy with it. It
works really well, as a constant reminder for myself that I need to walk or
just move more throughout the day. You can set a goal. I think it's preset at
10,000 steps a day which is what everybody should be doing. But most of us
don't actually. I think the national average in America is like 5,000
steps/day. So if you can hit 10,000 steps you doing pretty good.
(2) One other thing I don't like about it is that
it's a lot bigger than the previous model this is actually my first one but I
know this is bigger than the previous model and the second thing is wristband
doesn't snap that easily. I have to really push really hard to get it to snap
on you can see. It comes off very easily. It's made with rubber or silicone
material even though it looks water-resistant but it's not waterproof. You
can't swim with it, or going to shower with it. I know for most people the
biggest question is this accurate when it comes to counting calories and
counting steps I personally feel that is pretty accurate just because I also
where a heart rate monitor with a strap.
(3) I have been wearing that for so long I pretty
much know how many calories I burn in an hour of walking or an hour of Zumba
dancing. I always know how many calories so this is telling me pretty much the
same. It it's not that much different there are few things that I really like
about it the first one is it tracks your sleep what you do is when you go to
bed you press the button down and it starts a timer. Then when you wake up you
press the button down again to stop timer so it counts how many minutes you
were in bed. And on top of that it actually automatically tracks how many
minutes it takes you to fall asleep which is a kind cool to me because you know
nobody can say for sure how long it takes them to fall asleep.
(4) The second thing that I like about it is the
free iPhone app it's pretty cool and it's very easy to read. It tells you the
battery remaining, the number of steps you have taken in the day, the number of
miles, how many flight of stairs, the number of minutes you are active which
means the number of minutes you spend exercising actively and the number of
calories you have burned today. There are two levels of membership the free one
which is what I have and premium membership I'm using the free membership where
you can log your food how much water you drink, log activities and everything
so I find it sufficient.
(5) I haven't really felt the need to pay for the
premium membership what I wanna share with you is if your goal is to burn
maximum amount of calories you will be better off doing high-intensity workout
because it gives you more credit for doing that About a week ago I was out
walking on a trail. I walk for maybe two hours six and half miles total. It
tells me that I burnt the same amount of calories as the day before when I only
did one hour of walking, up and down the hills. So it gives you more credit if
you do higher intensity workout. I personally think it's a good buy even at a
hundred and thirty dollars.
(6) Obviously it's not cheap but that's what
you'll be paying for a nice heart rate monitor with a strap I really hate the
strap because it has a hard piece in the front and when I dance and moves, it
goes up and down so it just very uncomfortable. So I much rather have it on my
wrist. I hope you like this video please like and share the video and leave a
comment down below let me know what you think and subscribe for more shows
coming up thank you. Bye!
